Cori Anika Bush is an American politician, councilwoman, nurse, activist, author, and pastor. She serves as Missouri’s first district U.S. Representative. Cori is notably the first Black woman and nurse to represent Missouri in federal office. She is an avid Black Lives Matter activist.
Bush also serves on the House Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee. Moreover, she is the Vice Chair of the Majority Leader Task Force on Poverty and Opportunity.
