Lawsuit
During her tenure at FOX 5 NY, she pitched, produced, and reported several headline-making stories. However, in December 2017, Lidija took FOX 5 News to court suing them over a hostile workplace.
She cited that the news organization had a “misogynistic culture.” Furthermore, this is not the first time the cable news company has been sued for top-down harassment by other workers such as Gretchen Carlson among others.
Curanaj later amended her complaint against the news company, citing stories of more than 25 women. As a result, Lidia faced retaliation from FOX News stating that her complaints were irrelevant and prejudicial.
